Course Requirement

To achieve a CHC42021 Certificate IV in Community Services a total of 15 units of competency must be completed (seven core units and eight elective units).

Entry Requirements

There are no education entry requirement for this qualification. Student’s must be above the age of 17 to enrol and 18 years of age to complete work placement and complete this qualification. Students under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardians’ permission to enrol.

The students’ needs and desired outcomes
The ability and commitment of the students to complete the course;
Eligibility requirements listed in the applicable National Training Package;
Students existing ability in the ACSF core skills, (learning, reading, writing, oral communication and numeracy)

Students not meeting these requirements will be directed to more suitable qualifications or skill development program

Course Structure

To achieve a CHC42021 Certificate IV in Community Services a total of 15 units are required to complete this qualification; Seven (7) core and eight (8) elective units.
