Some courses at Kirana Colleges include a mandatory work placement component to help students apply their learning in real-life settings. When required, students are supported throughout the placement process.
If a course includes work placement, Kirana Colleges helps students secure a suitable placement and provides coaching and job-readiness preparation to build confidence before they begin. If a student is already working in a relevant role, they may be able to complete their placement with their current employer, subject to trainer approval. Where needed, the Industry Pathways Team can help source additional placement options. All placements are covered by student insurance and are tracked through the online learning portal.
Work placement requirements vary by course. If placement is not required, the course will include practical simulations and case-based learning to support job readiness.
