Because of the digital format, it’s much easier to update modules to reflect any new research and developments in the field that are relevant to your specific program. It’s important for learners to receive the most current information and stay up-to-date with the latest in the field of mental health, and Kirana Colleges’ flexibility makes that easier to accomplish.

8. How does Kirana Colleges provide academic and personal support for remote students?

Even though our courses are remote, Kirana Colleges fosters a strong sense of community. We do not underestimate the importance of connection and making sure our students feel supported.

Academic support

At Kirana Colleges, students never have to navigate their academic growth alone. Each student is paired with a dedicated teacher and a student success coach. These professionals provide guidance, support and motivation, ensuring students stay on track and achieve their goals.

Personal support

We offer a comprehensive Student Assistance Program (SAP) as well. This is a free and confidential 24/7 hotline service that supports the well-being and mental health of our students.

Our SAP ensures everyone has a channel through which they can communicate any personal problems they may be experiencing. This way, we can help students address these issues so they can continue to thrive both academically and personally.

9. How can online mental health courses be accessed by individuals with disabilities?

Kirana Colleges’ flexible and remote setup means students with disabilities can access their courses on our learning platform as easily as any other student. Plus, because they can access the learning material from anywhere at any time, it eliminates the need to navigate inaccessible infrastructure and transportation and or having to miss out on whole modules due to recurring or urgent health concerns.

On top of that, we encourage learner disclosure of disabilities. This way, we can provide additional reasonable and appropriate support and modifications to tasks, teaching methods, tools, learning materials and assessments when needed.

10. Can online mental health courses be customised based on individual learning goals?

With Kirana Colleges, you can learn at a pace that suits your personal goals. Our flexible learning setup allows you to choose a timetable that fits your lifestyle, ensuring that you can progress through the course material in a way that aligns with your individual objectives.

Our approach to online education is designed to cater to your personal learning goals. You have the freedom to tailor your study schedule, revisit sessions and utilise a wide range of resources, ensuring that your learning journey is as effective and personalised as possible.

11. How do online mental health courses accommodate different learning styles?

The online learning setup allows for various formats to accommodate different learning styles. Students who prefer live interaction can join real-time lectures, while those who benefit from self-paced study can utilise recorded sessions. This flexibility ensures that every student can learn in the way that suits them best.

Technology also gives teachers more opportunities and resources to implement various strategies and methodologies to meet diverse learning needs. This way, each student at Kirana Colleges receives a tailored educational experience, no matter if they’re taking counselling courses or early childhood education courses.
