This Dual Certificate III in Individual Support and Certificate IV in Ageing will put you ahead by providing you with the relevant skills to provide person-centred support in both aged care and disability sector. Package the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) and Certificate IV in Ageing Support to save time, whilst gaining vast industry knowledge with 140 hours of work placement.
Once completing the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), individuals will only be required to complete an additional seven (7) units of competency from the Certificate IV in Ageing Support to be awarded a Dual Qualification – a total of 20 units.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must first complete the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), along with the additional 7Â units of competency listed below. The candidate must also complete at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.

Course Requirements
To attain the Dual CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) and CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support, 20 units must be successfully completed.
Aged care students are required to complete a National Criminal History Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check in order to work or volunteer in the community services sector.

Qualification Pathway
After achieving this qualification, you may choose to pursue one of the following Degrees:
- Diploma of Community Services

Entry Requirements
A minimum of year 11 or (Australian equivalent) is mandatory or achieve an Exit Level 3 or above score within the Australian Core Skills Framework assessments in Reading and Numeracy, which will show that they have the capability to be successful in the course.
You will need to be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18 your enrolment form will need to be signed by a parent or guardian.
