Get ahead in the aged care industry with the dual CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) and CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support. Providing you with the right skills to excel in person-centered support for working in both the aged care and disability sector.
This course is broken into two components, (1) completing the CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) and (2) completing an additional seven (7) units of competency from the CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support to be awarded both qualifications.

To attain the dual Certificate III in Individual Support and Certificate IV in Ageing Support, 21 units must be successfully completed.
Aged care students are required to complete a National Criminal History Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check in order to work or volunteer in the community services sector.
Students must undertake a minimum of 140 logged working hours within an Approved Service which will allow you to complete a range of applicable work tasks.

To study Dual Certificate III in Individual Support and Certificate IV in Ageing Support, a minimum of year 11 or (Australian equivalent) is mandatory or achieve an Exit Level 3 or above score within the Australian Core Skills Framework assessments in Reading and Numeracy, which will show that they have the capability to be successful in the course.
You will need to be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18 your enrolment form will need to be signed by a parent or guardian.
