How long will it take to complete?
The course has a maximum duration of 18 months. Due to the program being self-paced, many students complete the requirements sooner by dedicating more time to their weekly studies.
Is there a work placement requirement?
Yes. To meet the national standards, you must complete a minimum of 200 hours of work placement in a regulated community service environment to develop your practical leadership skills.
Is this qualification nationally recognised?
Yes. This is a nationally recognised qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
