We encourage you to start by approaching suitable organisations. We’ll support you with professional introduction letters, practical resources and guidance to help you confidently connect with potential host organisations and begin your placement search.
We ask you to make the first approach using the resources and support we provide. If you’re still unable to secure a suitable placement, our dedicated Industry Pathways Team will step in. Working with our placement partners, we’ll use our industry networks to help find a placement that meets your course requirements.*
Once a suitable placement has been matched to your course requirements, we’ll help finalise the required paperwork and insurance so you can focus on gaining valuable hands-on experience and putting your learning into practice.

✔ Choose from one of the three placement options provided
Our work placement commitment may no longer apply if all placement options are declined or interviews are missed.
We aim to arrange placements within 20km of your home*. However, for students in regional or remote areas, placements may take longer to secure or may be located further away to support timely course completion.
*Placement availability depends on your location, industry demand, and course requirements. In some cases, additional travel or wait time may be needed. Additional fees may apply if placement options are declined or interviews are missed.

Yes, absolutely!
If you’re already employed in a relevant role, you may be able to complete your work placement with your current employer. Your trainer will assess and approve your workplace to ensure it meets the course requirements and that you’ll receive the right level of support.
